English Reflective Journal Week 1

I was browsing through the internet and I found this article. It was entitled as “global warming”, so I thought it would be relevant to my task. This article was mainly about global warming and how did it came about.

"As we know global warming has been taking place on earth for the past few years. But infect scientists discovered the greenhouse effect in the late 19th century. But it wasn’t accepted as a scientifically proven fact until 1992 when the United Nations held a Conference on Environment and Development". I think, if only they had not wasted much time trying to prove that global warming was taking place, they could have found a possible solution to prevent global warming or could have even stop global warming if possible.

"Since global warming has been proven to be happening, scientist started doing their research on global warming. Mainly on what is global warming, how is it going to affect our earth and so on. As we know, developing nations to industrial countries, global climate affects everyone, so many other newspaper articles tell us the story of nature's dramatic impact on history".

Personally, I think many things can be concluded from this article. Global warming had started long before humans found out. That means the activities that the people before and in the 19 century were engaged in was quite harmful to the earth.
